Hi guys,
I need help, I'm trying to make an M16 clone with the mounted M203 grenade launcher that I saw on Scarface that one time. Silly, I know, but Im bored looking to build something cool.
I'm using an Armalite M15A4 with a heavy barrel so there's no real place to clamp the latches to the barrel that normally come with the tube to mount. I'm using an aluminum King Arms 40mm M203 airsoft launcher that came with a rail attachment designed for a quad rail. Since I have the USGI forend, the rail attachment is completely useless to me and has since been removed to slide into the handguard as it normally would if it had a clamp securing it to the barrel.

Everything fits perfect but the problem is that nothing is securing the tube to the rifle, even though it hangs onto the foregrip relatively ok, but it does slide around a bit. I need ideas to secure it because I want to be able to take it off to clean the rifle every so often and I cant if I permenantly attach the tube to the foregrip.
There is a small lip above the forward end of the tube that looks like I could drill and fit a small metal latch to hang onto the front flange that holds the foregrip in place. I would be able to unscrew it to detach the tube and take the whole thing apart to clean. At this point it seems like my best course of action but I'm wondering if anyone else has any ideas outside of what I have in front of me. I need a MacGyver on this without spending money on an appropriate barrel clamp or giving up entirely.

Thank you in advance, guys.
