M21 stuff

I was able to tender for an Israeli M-21 Barrel

The barrel is marked "MFR 26978 9345206 6-83 82472". The code shows it to be a SAK made barrel under General Dynamics ownership.
The medium weight NM barrel was used on M21 rifles by the U. S. Army. Saco-Lowell barrels have a great reputation for accuracy, and they are broach cut rifling and not button rifled.

Yup, did the same with my TRW M14. Transfered all the USGI parts to a Norc receiver and sold off the Norc parts. Since I bought the TRW in the 80's for about $400.00, I came out ahead (not counting inflation). I still have the bare TRW receiver to maintain my 12.3 status
