You know it is amazing how the look of rifles has changed from 5 yrs ago we would laugh at people for having extended Rails and the such they are more common today because people see the actual use for them . same as flash lights on rifles

I still havent figured out the extended rail thing and flashlights yet... someone mentioned identifying your target, but wouldnt your target identify you that way also...i dont know:confused: I know the extended rail has something to do with NVD's and I havent played with any in 20yrs. I do remember the ones we had had an eye cup on them because the scope would light up your face green glow.....guess that is not an issue with newer gear. As far as flashlights and lasers go....it kinda goes against everything I believe about concealment, but as times change so do tactics, but it would be an interesting read to see whats behind it all, might learn something neat looking it up. I hope it does have practical aplications and not just all for looks.;) :)

All the New generation Rifle NV Devices mount in front of the Scope that is the reasoning with the extended rails as for the flash lite may be that is so you can find your way back to Squad Car at nite

Can't be Savage, all the Tim Horton's I have seen have street lights in the parking lot, there must be another reason for the flashlight.:p :p :p :p :p ;) :)

I think I'm going to pay for that one.:D:eek:
