Marstar has said multiple times that they cannot deactivate their full auto firearms and sell them, is there a way around that?

I do believe you are wrong, and I lean more towards the latter of the two options.

If they intend to *import* Grease Guns for the purpose of selling de-activated lumps of metal, then yes they must be lumps before they cross the border. CBSA isn't letting a bunch of machine guns in!

If they have stock already in-country of 12(2) or 12(3) Registered Prohib.s, weld away, my son.

(BTW, I'm in for a thousand M3 DeWaTs.)

Ok I looked for myself and found this. It was an old thread but it's likely that nothing has changed...

RE FAs: There are no provisions in the regulations for us to "import for the purpose of deactivation".
Simply put we cannot deactivate our own guns....

So could you find some one with the proper lisc who would purchase it, then immediately (or after being shipped to another gunsmith) have them weld it up before receiving it?
