During the early days of C68 a fellow registered an actual grease gun and an automatic black and decker heat gun for
fun to see what the BS automated system would do.

Just a funny story about grease gun.

I handled a legally owned M3 back in the late 70's. I have no idea where it ended up being sold. The only other one I have ever seen in my lifetime, is my full scale airsoft M3 hanging on my gun room wall. VERY scarce gun in Canada I think.

At the Gun Store in Los Vegas you can shoot a full auto "Grease Gun",..i was going to try it out on the range,..but decided to go with the "Tommy Gun" and the Sten

guy here in ontario has several fullauto grease guns Ive seen and handled them

There are several movies that show the M 3 Grease Gun ,... in "Attack Force Z",

Staring a young Mel Gibson, with a group Australian Z force commando's ,...create havoc behind Japanese lines using the silencer equiped Grease Gun with deadly effect..there are some very good shots of the Grease Gun" in this movie .

In "Go Tell The Spartans" staring Burt Lancaster uses the "Grease Gun", a movie about the early days of the U.S. in Vietnam, where U.S.Army troops were advisors to the South Vietnamese army,....

the reason there's so few around is 1) it's a machine gun under batf rules, 2) until very recently it was still the crew weapon in armoured vehicles- there was a guy in texas manfacturing a semi version , but i've never seen one

Parts for these things cost an arm and a leg. I have seen barrels alone go for $600 at auctiion.

Yes, it is available. A member here listed his CA M3 Grease Gun for sale last year. But you will have to motivate him with enough $000s to deact the thing because he specifically said no deact.

K&M also brought in a batch of minty deact M3 at $600 from England back in the good old days. All you need is a time machine to go back and achieve your dream.
