of course the way around all this is to ROLL YOUR OWN- get a dillion 550 or similar, or a couple of single stages, and that way you can CONTROL WHAT YOU feed your rifle- I got my first 308 back in 72 or so( a savage 99) and I haven't looked back- sure I've bought bullets, brass , primers and powder- I get my powder in 8 pound kegs and bullets 1k at a time- this feeds some 7 m14/305s- I got a good recipe from zeidker called an m118slr- 165/168 grain- the ONLY change if I was going single stage again i'd get a SECOND stage so I don't have to do all that screwing/unscrewing- 1 round at a tome from beginning to end
