M305 bench / sighting results

Rifle is a new norinco m305 shorty from the most recent batch it has round spring guide and I have made the oprod guide tight as well as the gas lock , m14.ca scope mount and a el cheepo 2-7 power scope

Top group was at 100 yards on 2x with hand loaded 150 game king and IMR 8208xbr the other two were at 50 yards with the same bullet but IMR 3031

Well done. I got quarter inch with three rounds (my last three) with iron sights at 100 metres. I was sighting in and ran out of rounds so only had three left.

Is this that camoflauge rifle you posted earlier or a brand new Shorty out of the box? Whichever, it shoots very well.

It's the cammo one I printed out my dope card for the reloads and did some shooting today seems this rifle is gonna be picky about what powder and how much

I have also had great success with IMR 8208 and my M1A

Nice groups. You've got a good Norc M305, just keep it. My scoped full size 22" Poly M305 gets only around under 1-1/2" MOA five-shot groups so far with Hornady FMJ 150gr and Ramshot TAC. I don't have time to develop the good loads yet.
