1) are the legal (am sure they are)?
2) where can I get one in Canada, or is there a US source that will ship to Canada?
3) soft or hard? which is preferred?
thanks :)

I use the Caldwell on my AR & XCR-M. I got it for $20 at bass pro when stateside, and it works well. Just velcro's around the gun in front of the action. It will only hold so much brass before it deflects down enough to stop the cases from beign caught in the bag, but, it at least stops the cases from goign anywhere. I figured out that if I'm shooting from the bench, I can just put a plastic bin under the mesh baggie, and the cases are simply redirected into the bin. EAsy peasy. No picking up brass when doing load development for the semi's.

Good :) I think the hard cases look tacticool but the soft ones would probably fit my needs better.
No listed Canadian suppliers? I can and will get it from the States but would prefer a Canadian Retailer.

Something like this would be awesome (but this is a ar-15 catcher) supplied by "The Country Shed"
but rails are the big issue... my Norc doesn't have them yet (YET)

at least it isn't my TT-33 - My word does that thing fling the brass.... throws it right and rearward for like 30 feet!
