just curious, is it a good step up from the norinco stock... to be honest, i can't stand the plastic norinco stock and have been on the fence as to getting a woodstock or fiber ?

Great job stripping it. What stripper did you go with. Still talking guns here

Stripped it bare today and removed the poorly bonded epoxy putty from the full auto cutouts. Happy to find the crosshatching on the grip areas come up really crisp.

Like Mrs Frizzle on the Magic Schoobus sez, "discover, learn, and make mistakes."

Just don't forget that Popsicle stick fix when dealing with a USGI stock and a Norc receiver that has a flush fitting connector lock. That tend to drift out under magazine tension.

That's why we gotta do this Popsicle stick fix. It's in the FAQ stickies. I put them there ten years ago.

looks pretty good. Iam half tempted to nuy one of the wood film kits from camodiy . com and make a fake wood stock out of a sythetic one.
