M305 for a DMR build?

No paint job needed. M14.ca offers Blackfeather stocks in a variety of colours and they look better in person than they do in pics. I have one in black but am a little envious of my buddy's in green.

I went down the same path of a DMR build a few years ago and have gotten it to be a reliable 1.5 moa shooter with hand loads. I've seen a medium weight Criterion barrel and a new bolt turn someone else's Norinco into a 1 moa beast and that's what I will do next (after my trap gun, precision rifle, yadda, yadda).

And yes, you can have both. I do. Remmy 700's follow me home for some silly reason. I still love tweaking the M305 platform and you are always welcome to drop by here (west of Barrie, ON) for your own tweaking clinic.

Here's a link to my post in the FAQ's...

Head down to post number six.... Wow, I cannot believe we did this over 8 years ago!

Very nice rig you've go there man, that's definitively the end goal I have in mind if I pick one up.
When looking for a norinco to build on, any components I should look for that indicate a "good one". I am still wading through the loads of info in the stickies lol.

BTW who did the paint job on the blackfeather stock? It looks amazing, I just wish I could get my hands on a silencer...

Thanks.

Just look for parts that don't show much wear, and confirm that the action operates smoothly.
Definitely pick Barney's brain.

No paint on mine, that's Blackfeather FDE.
