The front sight on my Norc 305 is dialed over to the right. I'm brand new to these types of rifles, so bear with me haha. There is a dial on the front sight, as im assuming is to adjust it left or right to center the sight. I cannot move it (if it even moves that is). Am i missing something?

Unless I misunderstand you, there is no dial on the front sight. There is a allen screw behind the front sight that you loosen so you can drift the sight with a hammer and punch.

Patt08.... alot of these rifles had the barrels slightly over tightened when being assembled meaning the front sight base will be leaning a little to the left when viewing it from the butt end. I can't say for sure this is why your particular rifle has a right sitting front sight.

The front sight's were drifted to the right when viewed from the butt end, so as to align it more over the center of the bore. Usually if you drift it to the center, or to it's mechanical zero, you will now have to dial in some left windage clicks on the rear sight to get a center hits.

My rifle even had it's factory installed "right sitting" front sight staked at the factory to correct their over tightening of the barrel, a very poor solution to a problem in my mind. Alot of M305 owners have had their barrels removed and re- torqued back on so as to have the sight centered over the bore, a great plus if long range with iron sights is what you are after.
