M305 in other calibers?

The biggest question is which magazines will they use, and will the barreled action fit in a typical m1a stock (such as a GI or Archangel).

I've been looking for a x39 rifle for a while now, and this would fit the bill nicely at the 6-700 pricepoint. Any more, and a CZ 527 would suit me better.

Ummm...because the thread is about the M305 in other calibers.

By the way, the Mini-14 is not an M-14 action.

And it will hopefully be cheaper too.

My SKS covers the x39 for me but to have a 5.56 in a slimed up M305 would be pretty slick.

Good point. The weight was the main reason I sold my 1st 305. Big heavy pig.

pretty common re-chambering,does it shoot well.

Velocity 123grain is 200yards 300 1/4 onces powder
154 grain same yard .352 onces but more deep penetration

Shooting well accurate if its new barrel and adjust

Plinking whit a lee enfield jungle 7.62x39 .19$cent a bullet mag 30 round is fun
