Another thing to consider is that even if it is a genuine JAE stock make sure that you advise the new seller that there was an M305 mounted in it.
If it is anything like the Archangel stock there would have to be some trimming done to the stock to make the receiver fit.
I'm sure someone mounting either a Springfield Armory or an LRB receiver in it would not want to be looking at the trimmed area.
Just post some pics and the more knowledgeable folks on this site will let you know if it's the genuine article.
this is not correct I'm afraid.... well, the last sentence is, but your general statement is totally incorrect..... no offense meant.
The JAE series of rifle chassis and sage and troy and all "usgi" inlet patterned stocks/chassis , are essentially a drop in fit for the M305. There are TWO modifications required in some cases. One applies to ALL m14 type rifles regardless of manufacture and that is trigger lock up. Troy and JAE have adjustments, sage does not so trigger housing is modified till lock up is achieved. The other modification applies to most Norinco but also any M14 type rifle with a "short" or "NM" length connector pin, requires a plug or filling of this recess in the USGI inlet patterned stocks/chassis.
If a stock or chassis is made for the genuine "M14" rifle and is intended to house a USGI pattern rifle, the norinco action is a drop in fit, save for the mods above.
If the stock is made for the Springfield M1A series of rifles , the stock will need to be modified to fit a norinco action at the receiver bedding plane, right side of the stock/receiver.
you can take that info to the bank.
as for if the chassis is a JAE , it will be a machined titanium or aluminum chassis with an overmolded, type shell. If it is all plastic, it's not a JAE.
Check out wolverine supplies I think, for pricing. Don't let one greasy mother from the EE chew down your price either.
JAE chassis hold their value if undamaged so decide on your selling price and tell the lowballers to pound the proverbial sand

They can either afford it..... or they can't LOL
