M305/M14 Scope Mount???

Hi All,
I'm about to get my first M305/M14 and want some opinions on a scope mount. Is an ARMS#18 the only way to go or are there others of good quality out there for less? Where can you buy them here in Canada?

The Smith Enterprise #2024 Weaver mount is an excellent one. I have one and it's rock solid. I bought mine through the board here so I'm not sure how you can get one up here (Brownells?), but if you can find one I'd highly recommend it.
