I have a bunch. They do stay on tight. They would likely be useful in CQB matches, especially to pull the mag out of the pouch. But there is a bit of the poser value to them as well.

I've only shot a match with my Norc with OSA, and that involved prone shooting. The Magpul would have been in the way, so I removed them for that application. Many people put the 5/20 round mag on the ground.

Makes taking mags out of the chest rig easier and faster. each pouch holds two mags and it is a pain trying to pull mags out fast without the magpuls. Great for using in rifle action shooting matches. they stay on tight. Got them on ebay and a couple on the EE forum.
Hey Storm, I am eagerly waiting for the 3 gun matches at East Elgin this summer...

looks like the're about 3 for $10 or $3.50 a piece (wolverine)

I might use webbing and duct tape though not to save money but so I can cheat with my mag on the ground in the prone as mentioned.
