m305 new stock

Hi I thought I'd post my newly dressed norc in 1976 couch camo. It's a U.S. fiberglass stock that fits really well. The pull seems longer which suits me. I'll see soon how it shoots. PS now I can work on my M305 in public on the couch and no one will see it LOL Cheers

One question I have is, why does your barrel look darker than most? I've seen many M-14s' mostly grey. Yours looks black. Did you re-parkerize it? Just wondering.
