m305 rear sight

So i got my new M305, and in the process of de-cosmoing, i took apart the rear sight. Of course being so excited i failed to take note as to how it was before i started. So how does one put it back together correctly? So the markings relate to correct elevation.

You will have to adjust those at a range to get them correct. I don't have the procedure in front of me, but IIRC you sight in for 100 yards, and then loosen the screw on the side of the sight and align the "2" to the reference mark on the sight base. One warning - before loosening the screw on the elevation drum, count the clicks to bottom out the sight. That way, if the elevation drum slips between your fingers when you are losening it or re-tightening it, you can get back to your established 100 yds. zero.
