M305 Rings and mount

Hello all... I am at work so I must keep this very low key.

I promise I'm actually a hard worker but.. I need a break and I figured why not post a simple opinion related question here..

I have an m305b norc. Was planning on getting a scope base from m14.ca, or if anyone has any better suggestions for a mount I'd like to hear it too. Not sure what rings to get. I was thinking Burris 1" Signature Zee Rings which I read some good reviews on.

The scope is a vortex viper 4-12x.

casm 2 from M14.ca is an awesome mount.

as for the rings what does the manufacture recommend? I would think any good quality 1" ring system would be appropriate

I can't comment on the mount, but I have used a number of sets of the Signature Zee rings with the plastic inserts and they are excellent. They compensate for any mount misalignment, don't mark the scope body and securely hold the scope under heavy recoil. I try to use nothing else these days.

I have Millett Angle-Loc rings, they are windage adjustable which is a handy feature with my Promag mount.

Wayrne low mount rings will work with any 40mm objective reticale nicley.

I have like 9 sets of rings I bought for my m305, so I'm kind of an expert on what not to buy (millet).
