Can you help me identify this scope mount? Idealy I hope someone here on CGN might know of a retailer who has the parts I require to get this scope mount back into service.

Hopefully there is a dealer out there who sells this mount and more importantly the bolts/screws that are meant to go with it (and can be sold separately).

From what I have understood so far, I'll need a "stripper clip dove tail lip" and the reciever's left side bolt which I believe is a #12-32Unef. There is also an allen bolt that provides pressure on the top of the front of the reciever that I need.

I found this mount in a bin of odds and ends at the local gun shop. Firgured for 5 bucks it would be worth a try to get it working again. Any info you might have to help me out would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I thought so at first as well. But internet photos of the promag show the picatinny rail to have 14 ridges in them. Mine has 16. If the price was right I would buy the parts to the Promag one, there is the possiblity that mine is a clone and may have the same threads.... but I don't know who sells the parts and not just the entire package.

Ok I got it this time, SARCO... I think

Yep. Sure looks like one of the very same. Thanks for your input. Now if I can find a retailer for that brand name..... thanks for the link!

Thanks Fender, if you don't mind keep me posted. Next available chance I get I'll call them. I'll also ask if their products are sold by Canadian retailers. Surprised that the entire scope mount system retails on their site for 25$

The scope mount I have in question is of made of aluminum (I'm pretty sure of anyway). It is very light and a magnet is not attracted to it. If figure it will be a miracle if the supplier is willing to sell the mounting hardware without the mount. I suppose worst case is I stop into a fastener/bolt shop and search around for something that works or can be modified. Maybe Western gun parts in Edmonton might be able to help.
