So I finally bought my first firearm. An m305 shorty from Canadian tire in welland ( big thanks to Josh). Any way I am breaking it down to clean the oil/benzine or what ever its soaked in and I have a problem. The bayonet lug is preventing me from removing the gas piston. Watched a YouTube video of a kiwi do it and it flew right out but he had the standard length. Any input is appreciated
