M305 & SKS deal....

Hey Jman
I bought one. I love it, I am extreamly picky about quality and for the price it is worth the money. I had originaly bought a poly tech M14 from an differnt online supplier(I wont say who unless asked) and found there to be scratches on the reciever and barrel. I had to speak to three difernt people before I was told that it was common with "chinese guns". Anyways after much arguments and pictures and frustration i was out shipping but they took it back. Marstar has a great warranty and they will cover shipping if there is something wrong with it. Oh yeah af for head space I am not sure. But it is stamped .308 and works like a dream I wish I had more. I am going to get the sks just because it's 75 bucks! but I am not familiar with these types of rifles. but I figure it will be fun to learn abit about it.
I apologize for the longe reply.

I'm glad you had such a good experience with Marstar, and thanks for your input on the new shipment. Our gun laws are pretty tight up here, but it's nice to know that we can still find good deals that would make even an American jealous. I'll definitely be picking up the M305/SKS deal when my paycheque gets here. Does Marstar sell any USGI magazines for the M305?

I've never seen an sks slam fire. Clean the firing pin channel and it won't.
Just trying to save you some money.

I second this. If anyone's going to ruin a gun by improper cleaning or general neglect, it's me and I never had an SKS slamfire. Don't tell the person I sold mine to, but there was rust on the op rod and firing pin after thousands of rounds down the pipe, a couple drops of oil on the pin kept it going.

John are you hiring a gunsmith? I would love to work at Marstar, enough to drop out of community college.

PM me bro

Just ordered 2 of the SKS + Ammo deals. I'm going to use them to teach people to shoot since it is easier for someone to mirror on exact same guns...plus if they f it up, it's a 75$ gun lol.

Hey John,
How much longer are you running this deal? Unfortunately I need a front door and a snowblower before I get new guns, so I would have to wait till December

I Have seen an SKS slam first, FIRST HAND. NOT a fun experience (maybe if I knew it had been coming...;) :p ) At first the owner of the gun and I thought it may have been some residual cosmoline on/in the firing pin. No, it turned out to be a "negative sear" that was simply sliding off when bumped to hard (like when you pulled the bolt back and let it fly home, you could slowly release the bolt and it wouldn't fire, but once you shot, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG!)

John, you are an evil, evil man! I swore that I wouldn't buy any more firearms this year. I also swore to never buy an SKS, but now I feel like I have no choice! :D

Yes I know, everybody says that, but our goal is to arm as many Canadians as possible, at the lowest possible prices....Perhaps you should consider trying meditation, trying your best to resist temptation, after failing to do so, simply place your order...

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST/SUPPORT
John.
