M305 Stock. Will this work?

Not an expert yet, but the M-14S and M305 are the same animal, just different designation from the manufacturer.

P.S Once I do get my M-14S/M305, that is the oufit that will be dressing up my Gal.....:dancingbanana:

Yes they will work, and yes they are nice. But they are also on the list of export restricted items.

Ouch! that takes them off the list! I saw some really nice pictures of a synthetic stock from a member on here, I guess they will win and i'll end up with them, they were my 1st choice if not a very close second.

Vltor stocks were to the best of my knowledge only sold on springfield m1a rifles..... and there accessory rail forend as well.... but in my new brownells catalog they list the vltor stock. Any stock designated for the M1A will fit a norc rifle and is importable without permits depending on value ( items exceeding 99.99 will require export papers from most u.s. dealers).... if it is designated M1A/M14 it may need selector plug and oprod pin fill AND IT WILL require U.S. state department export authorization. :(

and wasn't M-305 just marstars original catolog number for this rifle? I have never seen a norc rifle with m-305 stamped on it..... this designation originated here, not in china.

Yeah it is listed for an M1A but Wolverine will not import them except for LEO use. Target sports got some in as well to but they can't get them anymore either. I haven't tried latley but that was basically what I found out last year. Maybe somewith better connections will have more luck.

And the stocks were always available by themselves but the Cluster rail was exclusive to springfeild. They would put it on any rifle if you sent the rifle to them to do the install for a hefty fee :D

PS the member with the nice Synthetic stocks is the gentleman above :)

The ultimak handguard rail is supposed to be a pretty solid unit(it's what I want to get at least)

As far as the vltor stock, I think I read on their website that it's basically a modified usgi fiberglass stock, supposed to be pretty solid too(so I'm told) but at close to $500, is it really worth it?

You're going to spend $$$ on an Ultimak rail alone but you think $500. is a lot for a whole stock assembly?

i'll be signing up as a dealer shortly... no reveal until then :D I can't make these things in huge batches, I'm still a one man show ;) i don't mean to dangle the baited hook and i don't want to rush into this with an inferior product. p.m. with questions if you like but i will reveal no more in open posts till i'm a registered dealer.

I've looked at the Amega Ranges version as its comptable with the heavier barrels that SAI sells on specific models like the Loaded I am picking up Saturday! :D

And they list it as "M1A SOCOM Model" no mention of M14 at all its 260$ though, so unless I find a Canadian Source for a AN/PVS-22 or similar to save up for first its unlikely I'd buy it. :)

The link below shows an M-14 stock that i was hoping would fit the M-305, Anyone have any insight?

Fit this one just fine...

It is a Norinco with a shortened barrel.

IIRC, Wolverine imported them.

every penny...

The pictures do NOT do it justice. Also, it is FAR lighter than the sage.

"...also on the list of export restricted items..." M14 parts are on the list. M1A parts are not. Nothing from Norinco is an M14.
