M305 welded on flash hider

"...No Chinese weapons allowed..." No M305/Polytechs, but only after Slick Willy's Presidential Order in 1995, I think it was. Flash hiders became one of the idiot U.S. politician's part definition of what an 'assualt rifle' had along with box mags and pistol grips. Remember, U.S. voters elected a guy who had died to their Congress.

I believe it is welded on to comply with US regulations. I could be completely wrong though, that's just what I was told.

This is correct. Before Clinton, Chinese weapons were aloud to be imported into the USA and these rifles were made to comply with there import laws. A lot of people think that the rifles we're buying now were made recently but they weren't. There were most likely made 10+ years ago.

Thanks for clearing up my info. Good to know.
