I got a question here for the business member and all the Gunnutz that might be able to answer.

So I wonder why is it that Norinco doesn’t make anymore of the sks-d that seem so popular these days and so much in demand but instead they but on the market an other version of m305 that clearly do not match the expectation.

Could it be a possibility that Norinco remake that platform to fill the spot of the «unexpensive #canadian law compliant ak mag 7.62x39 platform#»

? SKS would not be so cheap to build these days. What expectations are the M305A's not meeting? They seem like a decent rifle for the price, cheaper than a T81 rifle! Seems unexpensive enough to me.

Imho if a big importer ordered 1000+ sks-d rifles, norinco would convert surplus sks rifles to d's and export them. The bigger question is what would the landed price be, and would you pay it if they were almost as expensive as a type 81?

The last time we had d's, they were also remanufactured and converted type 56 rifles meant for the USA that were dumped here cheaply in the 1990's. The next batch would not be as cheap as most ppl hope, I suspect.

For what I have seen on the market the very few sks-d there is are in the area of $650 and up. So pretty much in the price range of the m305A. And for are the comment I have seen on the net it look like there is a big issue with the than bolt catch that is now an ejector. Also reliability is not what it use to be compare to the 308 version. So that was basicly the bases of my questioning
