Hey guys,
I just disassembled the bolt of my m39 and I've been doing a couple of tests on it since I experienced some "sticky bolt" problems last time I went to the range (I had to hit the bolt pretty hard to get it opened after 4-5 shots, probably cosmoline at that point). So, I'm home, and I try loading an empty cartridge (empty wolf 200 gr. bimetal sp.), and it's PRETTY damn tough to close the damn bolt, and once it's closed, it's even harder to open it! It can't be cosmoline since the gun is cold, unlike in the range. I haven't tried loading a live round in it and I won't be able to until I go back to the range. So, could this be due to the fact that I'm trying to load empty cartridges, or could there be some damage to the bolt? The rifle cycles just fine without rounds. Oh, and I also noticed some very slight dent on the bolt head , although the spend cartridge fits just fine in it once I pop it in...
So, what could this be???
