M39 information

I did do a search, unfortunately when it comes to M39s most of the threads seem concerned with value, does anyone here have a good source of information about M39s?

I just picked one up

1942 B barrel with a few assorted markings.

I understand that it’s a post war Belgian manufacture but that’s about where my trail always runs cold, I’m looking to find out who or where in Belgium they were made by, and any other history or info about there origins.

The only Belgian bit on your rifle is the barrel. AFAIK these were ordered from FN during the war as replacement barrels for the M91s, post war many NOS M91 barrels were used for M39 production using up leftover parts. The Mosin section of Gunboards is a good place for academic info.
