WHEREMYKEYS;

I REPEAT, we do not charge a customer's card until the transfer comes back approved....

IF any customers wants their ref number, either e mail john@marstar.ca or call our toll free number 1-8988-744-0066 This applies only to the pre-orders....

"right now its 5-10 business days, i know, i called today about my m4 "

Now tell me you still beleive in the Easter Bunny....

They have two people doing all the transfers, on Friday they were 1,200 behind....
We have dumped almost 1,500 units into the system (CFC) in the few days, many for Ontario....
This week we will process a further 2,000 units, so I would be amazed if you get yours that fast, but I do wish you good luck

Sorry John, I should have rephrased that. My comment was directed towards the CFO, not you guys. I do realize you only charge after the transfer is approved. They must love you over there! You provide job security! :D

I was given a ref. no. and called the CFC to complete the transfer just to be sure. They told me the transfer was complete. So am I going to have to wait until the CFC mails the notification of the transfer to Marstar, they receive it and then ship?

"So am I going to have to wait until the CFC mails the notification of the transfer to Marstar"

No not at all, they usualy fax us the transfers as they happen, however if you provide your name we can check in the system and perhaps move it along.

my transfer was approved thursday(i called cfc).i called marstar on monday but they still didn't get the approval(by phone the lady said).
i'll call marstar tomorrow.the lady on the phone (marstar) asked if it was for a cqa transfer before i even said much,so i guess a lot of CGN'ers are keeping you guys @ marstar hopping...

Whoo-hoo! Yesterday had the Canada Post "We tried to deliver but you weren't here" card. Today after work, wandered down to the Shoppers Drug Mart/Postal Outlet and picked up my rifle and walked home with it. And downtown Toronto too! Take that Miller!!!

Now my condo smells all solventy... The product looks gorgeous! As per the manual, I can now "enjoy a better annihilating firepower within 460m".

I was pre-order 90, if any of you are still obsessed about that.

I don't know how to say this so I'm just going to chime in here with my details.

While away on vacation a package arrived from Marstar for me, a Norinco M4. I haven't unpacked it yet (it comes sealed in plastic), and it looks really nice. I can hardly resist opening it, but I can't really afford a purchase at this time. The rifle was charged, transferred and mailed to me but I hadn't been contacted at all about the arrival of the rifle shipment, authorization to proceed with purchase, or tracking number. I did not even get an email. I actually thought my preorder was cancelled months ago!

It looks like a REALLY great rifle and a great value too, it has a very military feel with all those nice military features, and man do I ever want to keep it. I'm just not sure what I should do. I haven't read too much of this thread as of late, except that on quick skimming it appears the CFO in Ontario is kinda slow. I'm in BC and it appears things are working well here. So well in fact that I didn't even know it happened. Sorry to those still waiting :(

Thanks to Marstar, it seems like a great product and a great price. Call me next time before shipping guys! I hope my girlfriend doesn't find it boxed up until I figure out what my options are. It looks very sweet, if I could afford it I would be happy with the purchase already without even opening.

Good morning, first of all you may return the rifle, if you wish, for a full refund....
However I would draw your attention to the fact that we posted at the evry beginning that the whole idea behind pre-order concept was to avoid delays and process the orders as quickly as possible when the rifles arrived
We did note that we would not be calling the customers, we would simply complete their pre-order

Update

Pre-order Number: 61
Location: GTA
Status: Rifle shipped via expedited post yesterday with an ETA of tommorow.

John @ Marstar: Having sampled a *lot* of different pre-order systems for various products through different companies, I can say, without doubt, this has been the most streamlined and painless especially given the bureaucratic hurdles involved.

Although I am saddened to hear that you're discontinuing pre-orders for future shipments, I do understand your reasoning. It has been getting a little petty but your defence has been admirably spirited!

I wish to both congratulate and thank you chaps on a very efficient processing system and outstanding customer service. Keep it up!

I refer to what we posted several times, your credit card is charged after the CFC has approved the transfer and the parcel is ready to leave.... After that it is up to Canada Psot
