"certain dealer's shipment of CQ-A has defective Norinco magazines. Is this an issue with Marstar's shipment as well? "
Please people, I have tried to explain, explain, explain, many, many times....
Marstar does not, will not ever follow others....
Yes our shipment is later, yes we had to satisfy ourselves of certain factors even before we signed the contract....
AFTER ALL Marstar does wararnty everything....
John

Can you clarify. Is your shipment taking longer because you had concerns with "certain factors", and once those concerns were cleared up you purchased a quantity of rifles? So then, are your rifles different? From a different batch? There are changes etc? compared to the the other dealers bringing in these rifles

OR

Once you your concerns were addressed, you ended up purchasing the exact same rifles as all the other dealers?

LIGHT INFANTRY;
"Can you clarify"
While I certainly welcome your interest in our products and procedures I am very reluctant to discuss our internal workings....

"those concerns were cleared up you purchased a quantity of rifles?"
Yes you are correct....However it was a Little more involved than that....
In as much that Marstar garantees each and every item that we sell we have to be ever so carefull of everything we buy.... When we have concerns, whether minor or major we prefer to clear them up BEFORE the fact rather than attempt to address the issue once the products are in the customers hands....

"So then, are your rifles different?"
To answer your question simply, yes they are....

Please understand that because other importer/dealers may not be as demanding as we are and may or may not offer the same warranty policy they are sometimes prepared to accept product made to different standard.... This is not to say that the product is inferior in any way, but rather it would not meet OUR DEMANDING STANDARDS.

When we discover an issue or a QC problem we want id fixed or remedied before we accept delivery, do we make public the issues in question, certainly not.... Why should we assist other retailers who don't wish to put in the extra effort.... ?

I hope I have answered your questions
John

DELIVERY DATE;

SHIPMENT IS ON THE WAY....
Container will land, how long will the delay be in the port before the ship discharges the container ??

Then Canada Customs must inspect, how long will that take ??

Container must then move to our warehouse, how many days will that take ??

Once unloaded the rifles must be inspected, inventoried and entered in the system, how long ?? Just a few days....

How long to fill orders ?? In the same sequence as received, then we can transfer them, once approved we can ship....

How long will delivery take to "my house" ?? Well that does depends on a few things, destination of course and on how speedy Canada Post is....

Now you know exactly when you will have the rifles
John

and people ##### when Canada Post is a day or 2 late

dealing with ships and other multimode transportation is bad enough, then throw on import export and Canada Customs..... its enough to drive one to drink

John your doing a great job :D

John...

I noticed on the marstar site, the picture for the CQ-A rifle as such http://www.marstar.ca/gf-norinco/CQ-a.shtm has the engraved logo on the mag well, with the norinco logo, just engraved and not coloured.

Some of the latest CQ-A's being sold by the CGN sponsors look simular however the logo is different, it's Norinco logo is slightly different as well the lettering is coloured white.

My question i guess, Are the Norinco CQ-A rifles that are being sold by the sponsors with white lettering on the magwell the latest version of the rifle ? I only ask because i have a pre-order with Marstar and i'm wondering if i'm going to recieve the M4 with the white lettering or will it be just like the rifle pictured on the Marstar site, with the black lettering.

Can you please clarify this is bugging me.

Thanks !

Nobody is #####ing about them being late. I can't even imagine how much paperwork and redtape you have to go through to bring in container loads of guns from China. We just want to be kept in the loop. If you say they'll be here June but the container hasn't even landed yet, then just let us know it'll probably be July or August...that's all. It takes all of 30 seconds to put up a post to say "hey guys, I know we said they'd be here in June but we ran into some problems so we're probably looking at July now" That's it.

When preorders are placed are people notified when the existing orders outnumber the amount of m4 arriving on the first shipment and will possibly have to wait for a future delivery. I say " possibly" because I understand that some order will be cancelled and this you cannot predict.
