I am trying to chose between the Canuck Elite Operator and the Revolution Armory Impact R4. I was just wondering what everybody thinks about them. (I was also considering the Stoeger M3000 Defense).

I have friends who have both the Canuck and the RA Impact. They run these in 2 and 3 Gun competitions and both brands have been very reliable. No, they are not M4 quality, but for the price they are definitely worth the cost of admission. I’ve shot a few of them now myself and if I wasn’t already overloaded on 12 gauges I would definitely consider grabbing one 👍
Also, that R4 with the wood furniture is sweet lol

Would you guys say its worth saving up for a Beretta 1301 for a casual shooter?
I’ve never known anyone who regretted buying a 1301 😊
If you have the desire to save up and grab one I have no doubt you will have it forever lol, they are a truly fantastic shotgun. At the moment I’m running a Benelli M2 clone and have been very happy with it, I had the opportunity to run my buddies 1301 a couple of months ago and it was incredibly nice, just not sure it was 3x as nice price wise as my $600 clone lol. Good luck with whatever choice you make but if you have the dough you won’t regret the 1301

I’ve been running a Girsan MC312 this waterfowl season. I’ve been super impressed. Just picked up another that accepts 3.5 shells. Far superior to any of the other Turkish semis I have handled. I’ve ran mine hard all season without a single hiccup.

I can't say I've known too many people that have regrets buying a nice(r) firearm.

Yes, the R4 with wood furniture is pretty nice looking... If you got your mind set on a M4, you can compromise all you want with a clone (or a different gun like the 1301) But this being said, you might has well save up some more $ and buy the real thing. (It will be cheaper in the long run)
