M4 vs. Type 97?

I am just thinking most T97 owner must have M4 already. One day (if haven't yet) Type 97 will see M4 on battlefields. Any one can do a 97 vs. M4 review?

I don't mean to knock your thread, but I don't think any wars between the US and China are going to boil down to which country has the better rifle.

The Type 97 and M4 are very different breeds of rifle. It'd be difficult to compare them on an equal playing field without getting really topical.

Let's say in a third world county on a "peace keeping" mission, which rifle would you prefer?
