I am still working on those. I have people asking questions every day. As of now no exact date on this shipment from Russia.
Now is the kicker I was offered 100 of M44 and M38 museum quality that were stored in Kazahstan. Shipment is by Air and price is much higher than the ones from Russia. Now I am thinking if I should bring those or not. Estimated cost for plain ones 500 dollars and there is 3 snipers in that shipment which is going to be around 700 dollars. I now it is not cheap but I am considering it. I want opinion from people. Please do not scream at me that I am crazy this is too expensive I am just trying to satisfy my customers and the market dictates the price on those M38 and M44 that are about your average surplus. All of them Chromed and shiny in working condition.

:ar15::ar15:We also have started Pre-order on SKS. Estimated date of shipping those out Nov 13, 2013 http://westrifle.com/online/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=20 :stirthepot2::stirthepot2:

Thanks but no. I'll keep waiting for the less costly ones. I'd love to have museum quality everything but the reality is that I'm not rich and and whatever extra I pay for one 'beautiful example' keeps me from acquiring a bunch of other 'nice' ones.

I'm quite curious to know what is chromed. Chromed barrel? Chromed metal part on the outside like parade/ ceremonie gun? Or do you nice and shiny/ polished steel look?

I would have to say no to the $500 price tag. I will hold out to get a another m38 at a cheaper price, as I just bought one last year for $150 & flipped it.

If the rifling and quality of the ones from Kazakhstan is way better I'd say go for those ones. But I'd say most people here are just looking for the least expensive one they can get....kind of a shame, why not save more for something better.

$350 maximum. I have a Polish and a Russian M44 - paid $325-$330 landed. i would say the Russian is pretty much museum quality as it was part of the 1990? import and was a safe queen.

Guys it is simple I say no to this ones and it goes to USA. USA wants anything and they do not care. Simply said if you want cheaper M44 then wait for Russian importation. My problem that I am trying to work out something with them and it is taking time and finances from me. I already fly there twice and I do not have a date of exportation yet. I know that many of you want those and this is why I keep trying again and again.
As to comment about chromed I will find out more and get pictures on Monday.

Cheers

Al

I was not aware that the US allowed importation of Russian or Chinese arms.

I imagine that there would be more interest at the higher price if high-res pics were available.
