M44 and M38 Update

It is made in Russia but at some point was send to Kazahstan. It is the same way Russian Mosin 91/30 get to USA through ex-USSR colony

Cheers

Al

Is there anything different from a Kazahstan M38/M44 vs a Russian one? Are they the same arsenal or is it like Polish vs Russian.

From what I have read/seen, their import restrictions are mostly on semi-auto, military type firearms. Bolt actions are generally considered "sporting" arms regardless of original purpose. That's why they have tons of Mosin-Nagants, but no SVT-40s, or M305s.

Are you talking about USA? If yes then it is even more complicated then military or not. I would spend hours explaining it and then tomorrow USA will change their rules again and will not tell us why.
