m44 russian $195 at collector source

30 shipping, 7 cc surcharge, 30 tax for total of $261

not too bad, the link is gone though, wanted to look at pics again

Same as me... hopefully this is in decent shape. If I don't like it, I'll throw it in the EE or hawk it at the local store. Not much of a gamble here, with it being so cheap. I think we bought them all, as the M44 link is dead. Whomever gets theirs quickly, make sure to put some pics up.

very nice shape, ended up costing $178 in the 5 pack after selling the vz24 for $300 :)

Do you have pics, by chance? Very interested to see this M38 from Trade Ex...

+1 on the M38's from Trade Ex being nice. Mine is still sitting in the cosmo; I should probably clean that up and take pictures one of these days.
Looks like I missed out on the cheap M44's, but I am still happy with the M38.

I just paid my order, $30 shipping+gst+cc charge= $243 at my door. If the bore is good as they said, its a good deal. Actually with a good disassembly and cleaning they may look pretty good.

It appeared that the metal work had lots of cosmo on it but looked decent and the stock was a little beat up. Don't think that would be a problem for a 'shooter' grade rifle. {Hoping I get the nicest one in the batch}:

well $45 shipping for me but I am way up north.
The one thing that has me thinking is their terms and conditions

We sell used and military firearms as collector's items. If you want to shoot these firearms you must have them checked by someone competent to do so prior to use

Dont worry about that blurb Far North that just to cover theyre ass not the first Seller I have seen say that or place a place card in the box with the firearm.

I always dissemble a firearm completly to clean and lube before any use anyways u get to know ur gun better and maybe spot a problem before its a real problem.

Thats right, most surplus guns are as-is as far as useability. its just a disclimer

well i'm glad i saw this post.. made an order and waited for total with shipping cost, which is $252 , out to BC.. order confirmed , so i'll wait like everyone else and see what kind of condition the rifle is.. A nice shooter is good enough for me. I'd rather have a "playing-princess" than a "do-nothing queen"
