m44 russian $195 at collector source

Look great!

Joce

Thanks. Mine came almost clean in comparison to most. Stock has seen many beatings, the bolt is the most worn I have ever seen & the bore looks like it has fired nothing but blanks. My guess is these are training rifles that got carried plenty but fired live ammo infrequently at best.

Looks like you have a real nice rifle under all that cosmo! I no longer see the M44 listed at CS.

i received an email from Al at CS and he said they are postponing more sales of these M44 til they catch up on the present orders. As well i asked about accessories and he replied they don't have any..

after removing the tons of cosmo stock is cracked at 3 place... will clean the bore tommorow to see if its the same kind of ####

^ Nice hardware. M38 definitely has a nicer stock and shinier bolt, start of a nice collection. Now go shoot them!

Finally had enough time to clean mine thoroughly. Stock is beat up but solid. Don't see any cracks or repairs. Definitely not pretty, but unsure if I want to refinish it. My bore is bright, shiny with strong rifling. Don't think it was shot that much... very happy with my purchase. It's sad to see that people are throwing theirs on the EE for profit already, but this is CGN and that's what people do. I'm on the waiting list for an H&K P7 (BNIB) and I know a few people who get lucky enough to get one will try to profit from it.

Mine's an awesome shooter, I should have purchased 2 of them.

just looking at your nice rifles.. with your M38, isn't that with a M44 main stock? it has the cut out for the rear/pointy end of the bayonet.. just for comparison, i looked at Weimajack's M38s for sale on EE ; their M38s stock do not have the cut out.. i'm not trying to be picky, your M38/44 looks very nice, just more .. accurate? esp for us red rifle beginners..

Only a couple of ones that Weimajack has, have the M38 stocks. The others have the M44 stocks which is actually more common as these are refurb. The price point also reflects that.

I've always preferred 91/30's as they are the rifles I have used most of the time at the range..Though it's pretty good to see these carbines for sale and at decent prices...ammo can be had for good prices...I may have a new range favorite!...The M38 and M44 are handy little carbines..!
