M44 shoots to the right

I know if it shoots to the right I'll have to adjust the front sight to the right. But I'm just curious why after I extended the bayo the gun still shot to the right?

Perhaps strange Barrel harmonics due to the bayonet being extended.

Try removing the bayo. I bet it will be straight. Been there done that. With the bayo on, there was not enough front sight adjustment to make it shoot straight, or the front sight had to be out so much it was funny.

I read a lot about barrel - bayo harmonics on M44. But according to a lot people, once the bayo is extended it shall shoot straight. But again, An M44 looks funny without bayo. I also tightened the screws by the mag and the tang.

Made no difference whatsoever on mine: 8" to the left at 50 yards extended or folded. Dead center with no bayo.

Hey mine is about the same, but to the right. And the hotter the barrel gets, the more to the right.

maybe you have a flinch? I know that's the undiagnosed problem with lots of milsurp accuracy issues, myself included, before someone told me I was doing it...

Indeed, let someone else try the rifle, but don't tell them about the shooting to the right issue. Just let them try it and see if it is different.
