M4E1 Aero Precision - Build Project - Beginner

Hey Guys,

New to AR world, picked up an Aero Precision M4E1 upper and lower receiver last fall. Already have a floating hand guard and muzzle compensator.

Would anyone be able to provide some guidance on steps/parts to continue with this build?
Ideally a cost effective calibre, perhaps 5.56mm chambering...

Any help is appreciated!!
 
I put my first one together a few years ago with zero previous experience with ARs. It’s super easy! Like previously posted lots of info on YouTube and a vast knowledge of information on this site. I just started collecting parts for my second build. Have fun!
