M4s now available for general purchase?

maybe we all need to lighten up and keep everything in perspective.

am I totally impressed with Marstar?

no.

am I totally impressed with ANY outfit?

not really.

is John a prophet, out to bring us salvation, or a businessman out to make a buck?

make a buck.... unless he's offering redemption through automatic weapons....

in the meantime, he'll make some people happy, p!ss others off, etc.

we're the customers- ultimately, we talk with our dollars, and that's what matters.

if Marstar's got what we want, preordering or not, great. if not, we go elsewhere.

and the fact that Marstar's doing well... guess it means on the most part, people keep coming back.

end of story.

I tried calling Marstar once, and even emailed a few times about an order I made...

And then realized I was being ridiculously impatient - and a hypocrite.

I often decry the "instant-ity" of modern society. People don't want to wait in line at the bank, and cry foul when the ATM doesn't work. They scream bloody murder when their online banking is down due to maintenance.

These are the same people who have to be first on and off an airplane, even though they're going to wait for the plane to take off just like everybody else, and wait at the baggage claim just like everybody else.

The same people who can't wait for food - so they eat garbage fast food.

The same people who view dial up internet as a punishment from the dark ages...

I could go on with examples... and on... and on... and on... But you guys get it.

I remember waiting in line at the bank with my grandfather, and he only went once a week. He'd fill out his deposit slip and fill out a withdrawal slip, depositing his paycheque and withdrawing cash. Sometimes he'd take out over a $1000 at a time if he knew he was going to be making a large purchase later in the week.

I could give you plenty of other examples of Grandpa's "slow" life. But you guys get the point.

When I think about the modern hustle of daily life, and the anger/frustration/disappointment that comes with it - I think I'd like to skip it, be slow, and be content like Grandpa always seemed to be.

So... John - I apologize for being a pain in the a$$ to you, or to the people who work with/for you. I know you probably never got wind of it - since I wasn't a giant pain in the a$$... But after reading all the crap people post, harassing you and making unfounded accusations about the speed your company operates at, I felt like an a$$hole for being in a hurry, and thought it necessary to apologize for my own stupidity, and my own lack of patience.

:D Now hurry up and send me my gun! :D

NNTW;
THANK YOU for your honest opinion....

"is John a prophet, out to bring us salvation, or a businessman out to make a buck?"
That should be spelled profit !
Seriously though, it has been our goal from day one to offer the most for the least.... And yes we have done well, we have been fortunate, for this I thank our thousands of loyal customers....
I am now heading into semi-retirement, I still enjoy meeting all the fine firearms people out there.... Hope to for many yaers to come

HAMMER HAND;
Point taken, I often feel that the world is now moving just a little faster than I would prefer....

OK we will hurry a bit more....

John

Great Service is right!

My order was delivered 3 days earlier than it was suppose to! The turn around was great and the communications that I received was top notch.

I totally agree with HammerHand, we need to slow down and let things happen.

And was there a shiny new NP-22 with it?

OK PEOPLE,
We must immediately file a complaint with Canada Post, imagine the sheer arrogance, delivering an order ahead of schedule....
Whats next, a price decrease.??
