M581 Rebarrel

Im wondering on a possible poorchase of one of these with their little whispy barrels.
Who does a decent job of rebarreling one of these properly?
First hand knowledge appreciated.

It's a Remington, Plain-Jane Model 581 .22rimfire.

Not that hard to change one out, blanks aren't tough to buy either. Any competent 'smith will be able to help you. There was a series written in Precision Shooting magazine a while back about accurising some early 22's, the Rem's did very well. It's a good read for the 22 fan, you should find it if you can. - dan
