Just installed all the goodies , really happy with this stock , super high quality very comfortable .. Best of all i now can mount a light , i think this is my new camp defence shotgun.. Just had a small issue with the forend install , the anti rotation tab was binding up on the barrel making the slide very stiff , even caused the forend tube to rub the finish off the mag tube a bit from the downward pressure of the tab. I used the proper tab for the 590A1? Well i had to sand the ears down on the tab a bit to make the slide smooth again , just a heads up ..

How is the reach and feel to the trigger compared to other stocks? I find the Mossberg's a bit of a stretch even though my hands aren't small....

By far the moss comfortable 500 type stock i have tried , grip and trigger access feel great . LOP adjustment can go from very short to super long , there were 4 spacers included .

Yep its perfect .. I only like traditional straight stocks on shotguns , no AR type pistol grip crap .. Thankfully Magpul seemed to think so too giving us a super modern straight stock , im far from a Magpul fanboy but they really hit a home run here .. I guess they always make pretty good stuff just not a fan of the BAD or AFG ..

Hey Boss just installed my Sga forend and it's rubbing when I #### it back on the "frame I guess". Has anyone had the same issue cause I'm going to reinstall it to make sure ! I'm thinking I may have to sand down mine on the back right and left side!
 
Running the same foreend and buttstock on my 590A1. Thinking about getting the same light as you.
Haven't had any problems with it rubbing, though. Well the first couple of times it was a bit harder to #### but I cycled it hard a few times and that went away. Cycles smooth now.

Not a bit , even with a sling attached it does not block the light , its the best way to run a 2 point sling on this setup .. Just a heads up for 590A1 owners , you have to buy a the specific 590A1 Magpul front sling mount. the regular 500/590 part wont fit because of the thinner barrel, made that mistake the first try lol .

Mine has minor wear marks on the barrel from the Magpul forend. From what I hear that normal, doesn't bother me.
 
My forend rubs as well. It's the anti-rotation plastic insert that touches the barrel in the last 3rd of the stroke. You could sand it down, but I just pumped it till it wore down a bit, and then put a drop of lube on each side. Now its pretty smooth.
