I've never shot one but I have handled and examined them. They may be durable and simple but I found them awkward. The squeeze trigger didn't seem to lend itself to a good let off and the barrel selector was awkward, too. Definitely not on my "must buy" list but to each his own.
 
My brother had one for a few years. I actually watched him drop some pigeons with the 410 barrel. I couldn't do that! I missed a fox with the 22, but it was a long 22 shot, so I can't really blame the gun. It is at it's best as a plinker, survival gun, or a second firearm for grouse when big game hunting IMHO.
 
Will never let my stainless one go, it is my absolute most used firearm. Killed a lot of vermin with it, hundreds and hundreds. I'm lucky with mine, the .410 patterns dead center on top of the .22. I find the trigger bar ideal for a working gun as this, as I shoot with gloves on, even mitts, with it. No problem with the selector here, I find it ingeniously simple, and very safe with the lockable center position. Love the buttstock ammo storage and micro size after takedown. If you find one, BUY IT. Prices have soared.
 
Lots on Gunbroker. Questar can import for you just add 250$ to price!!I have one and its perfect for the farm. I killed a coyote with mine,head shot @45yds and 22 Stingers. I put a Millet red dot on mine with see thru rings,I believe Springfield still sells accessories Get one you'll love it JITC
