I've owned my M700 Police .308 rifle for about 2-3 years now (Bought brand new) and have put roughly 200-300 rounds threw it. I've never taken the bolt apart for cleaning, but after each range session (20 round box) I clean the bolt and oil the moving part at the rear.

The action is super-smooth with no problems what so ever, I'm just curious if taking it apart for a more "detailed" cleaning is necessary ever so often?

Thanks.

Perhaps once a year take the bolt apart. Clean the spring and the firing pin, and lightly oil all the parts. It is probably best to use the tool from Sinclair International, but bolt disassembly can be achieved with a dime.
