M77 tactical/target stock?

Does anyone make a good tactical/target type stock for the Ruger M77 long action that is available in Canada? (tang or mkII action, it will be a project)

Have a look at the Hogue web site. They make a full aluminum bedding block stock for heavy barrel M77's.

A green Hogue might be just the ticket. The alum bedding system looks good and could work with a mag conversion which is what I'm thinking of doing.

Sort of in a round about way. I want to build a detachable mag (10rds) tactical/target rifle for that is good out to 1000m for tac shoots and maybe some F class. The catch is that I want to use 6.5x55 so that it makes the rules for military shoots where the round is restricted to mil issue rounds. I have a modified Rem700 in 308 that I use for this now but a 6.5x55 with 140gr SMK or similar bullet and 26 to 30" barrel would be very nice. Also I really like the M77 and it would be nice to build a rifle that is not a rem700 for a change.
