Cut TI a little slack guys. Obviously it was a typo as the site says 699 not 599.
Even at 699 it is still a good deal.
Seriously... eh?

this restricted?
Eh, whatever eh you eh say EHHHH ;-)Seriously... eh?
I'm really tempted. Is ammo readily available for this? I just checked a couple of the big guys up top and all out of stock.
On the other scorpion thread they're talking about this also. Ammo is currently available at SFRC, Ellwood Epps, and some other places. (7.65B/32.)
Just out of curiosity, how did this come to be restricted, instead of prohibited?
(I'm not doubting it, just want wanna know...)

IRC, this firearm is classified as a rifle.
Really? They simply called it a "rifle", and that was it?
The Act says; "40. The firearm of the design commonly known as the Skorpion Auto Pistol, and any variant or modified version of it."
I'm thinking there must be more to it, no?
(don't get me wrong, I'm all in favour of de-regulation, I just want to know the story here)

While the M84 FRT entry does not have any mentioned, from the "law comments section" for the Czech Small Arms SA vz.61 Combat FRT entry...
"- the firearm known as the Czech Small Arms, manufactured Sa VZ.61 Combat is a similar firearm to the Model referenced in PFR, Part 1, para 40. However, PFR, Part 1, para 40 refers to the "pistol" version of the Skorpion whereas the model in this record is the semi-automatic, commercial version (C/V) of the submachine gun (full automatic) Skorpion VZ. 61 and therefore should not be linked to PFR, Part 1, para 40."
I would assume the M84 is in the same boat. Designed from the smg, not the pistol.
Man, that sounds like some major hair-splitting, I'm surprised that got through. But that's great! Hopefully we can get some copies of some other prohibs brought in as well...
