Hello all!!

This is really just a bit of a curiosity, but I was wondering how many of you are still using the Magpul M93 stocks and how you are liking them.

I know they have been supplanted by they UBR (which has yet to become widely available), but I know where at least one is and was toying with the idea of playing with on.

Look forward to your comments

I love my Robot Leg. It's a much better stock than any of the other AVAILABLE (ie: not the UBR) stocks.

I've never handled a CTR stock yet, but I won't be giving up my M93B anytime soon.

Thx for taking the time to respond.

I have been looking at it as it seems to have the solid feel of a rifle stock with the adjustment of a carbine stock.

I have all the Magpul stock, M93, m93a, m93b, CTR, PRS and UBR.

The 93 is an excellent piece of kit and will not be getting rid of them anytime soon. Colapsed it's shorter than a std carbine stock and fully expended it's longer than a std fullstock so you realy have range to find a setting that your confortable with.

I have et to take the UBR to the range but it's a solid pice of kit.

The M93B is great...its looks awesome sitting in the box I keep it in...

Ok I know Im gona regret this but............

why do you keep it in a box and not mounted on a carbine/rifle

Well I have several stocks and when I finally got my hands on a new M93B they were being phazed out due to low stock in the US so all they have in stock was olive drab for the M93B. I got it but never was a huge fan of the color as all the other furniture is black. I also have a LMT stock and a CTR so I use the CTR. Plus the M93B with a gun with rails and optics is heavy... The CTR is much lighter.

Its a nice solid stock, but what does it offer that the CTR doesnt other than maybe the door smasher attachment and window breaker. Depends what you want I suppose.

CTR with rubber plate is a nice economical alternative.

Have a CTR black with pad on my 10.3 Stag flat top carbine, and love it.

However, I want to try this as its as close as one can economically get to a UBR

I have an M93 and a CTR in use here, but the smaller CTR is better for a carbine.....I think I'm going to use the M93 for a DMR build next year....

My biggest beef with the M93 is that it has some sharp edges all over it. Magpul completely fixed that with the UBR. All the edges are radiused and smooth. Other then that it's a solid stock.

I think you have a hell of an idea there!!

I have a very heavy 16" dissy barrel, a 12" troy MRFin tan, Just bought an M93 today (tan)...........Hmmm

May I ask what optics your planing to use for your build??

I have broken 2/3 M93 stocks I have owned, but so far have not managed to even scratch my UBR,next purchase is a CTR. The M93 was decent for it's time but suffered from some serious design flaws especially regarding the toe of the stock and it's attachment.

Reaper:

Really appreicate you comments.

I would very much like to get my hands on a UBR, but some how it continues to elude me!!
