I have a M95/24 that a uncle gave me and was wondering is someone could help me with something. I took it to the range last weekend after giving it a good cleaning and looking it over to make sure everything looked ok. He also gave me some surplus ammo he had for it that looked pretty good and from my research was dated in the 60's or 70's. When I went to chamber a round it would not chamber easily and I had to really ram it good. After firing I had to tap the bolt with a small piece of wood to get it out. It was not stuck that bad I just could not pull it back by hand. I tried it one more time and got the same results. According to my research the M95/24 a 8x57 and the ammo is also 8x57. Any advise?
Also the rifle has a cut down stock that I would like to replace with the correct one. If someone knows where I may find one that would be welcomed. Thanks
