M96 Swede Sniper

Just picked up a really nice M96 Swede with the original AGA scope from an 83 YO gentleman
Wood and bore are excellent. Serial no. is 020
Can't wait to try it out

Very nice!! Should shoot holes in holes at 100. Even the reg issue ones are damned accurate.
Did you pay a fortune? I recently got a 1900 Oberndorf made swede from my neighbour....but not the sniper version.

Wow, great pick up. These are rare up here. I am absolutely certain this rifle will be a superb shooter!!! I have a repro mount for my swede. Range report is now a must as you know!!!!

I picked one up at an auction sale about 15 years ago for $125. I sold it about 7 or 8 years ago for $1200. It was a good shooter.

No its not , Mauser = German design .. Im guessing Western Europe were scoping rifles well before Eastern Europe ..
