m97 shotgun ejection problems

Got one m97 from marstar on boxing day 1st chance to shoot it yesterday.

used some Winchester #6 and some of that Russian 00buck from Canada ammo

the # 6 worked perfectly the 00buck extracted but about every 5 rnds would NOT eject it was held tight on the bolt face the next shell would be half up and the gun jammed up I had to pull the shell off the bolt

at 1st I thought maybe I was not pumping it hard enough so I pump it real hard and still no eject

any ideas??? maybe its just that Russian brand of 00buck?

UPDATE it was the dominion shells the brass is soft and the ejector dented the brass rather then eject the spent shell

My Norinco 97 copy only works with Winchester AA shells, the rims on other shells simply aren't defined enough for the extractor to grab them. Someday I'll get around to replacing it with one from rusty wood trading, but she runs like a top with AA'S so who cares?

I find Score 1145FPS target loads run 100% in all of my pumps. Even the Norc, which will fail to extract Score 1200fps, or anything Challenger.

Cheers for the ejection tip, though. I've not seen that one.

I was puzzeled shell was staying on the bolt face then the next shell would try and come up jamming it tight I had to pry the spent case from the bolt once I looked at it \I saw the rim was deeply dented where the ejector hit I tried a different brand no problems and the case had a small mark not a deep dent!
