Works pretty well on covering up the marks lol. Those bolt catch holes are tight
Done everything on my build minus the stupid bolt catch. The two roll pins I had would not go through and just ended up breaking. Ordered some more and will try to finish next week. The safety is quite stiff but will loosen up with some use.

Yep, do this on every AR i build. The safety is tight in the receiver itself, but with some use it has loosened up some and will continue to do so.Roll pins should be squeezed at one end then have oil applied before installing (these is AR building 101). Secondly loosen the trigger box set screw and the safety may free up. (What brand safety)
Also have these!A must for every AR receiver set tool box.

Using roll pins is stupid IMHO. I know it's in the design of the AR but it's "the cheap way" to do things. Spiral pins are stronger than roll pins and are MUCH easier to insert into a hole, they hold just as well. You are less likely to break something when trying to get it in or out, too.Roll pins should be squeezed at one end then have oil applied before installing (these is AR building 101).
