My subjective opinion on the worth of the lower and upper.
In my eyes, these serve as a way of liberal proofing my ar15s. At the 600 price point, I could retrofit my ar15s for 2400 not including barrels, but at 1k I'd be looking at 4k. That's 1600 I could be putting towards something else. I'll stick to my xcr for hunting, and keep the original plan of dusting off the mill if something happens to ar15 lowers.
I guess at the rate these NR semi auto rifles with AR component compatabilty are being approved and brought to market now.... it will only be a matter of time before someone with some cash to spend farms out the uppers and lowers to a much more affordable manufacturing process and undercuts all these guys by 1/2.

The part I find curious about these, I suppose is typical with all "new & unproven" designs. It's hard to justify that kind of money with next to zero information on the rifle, how it performs etc. Such is the problem being the new kid on the block.
Seems to be a lot of people are quite disappointed with the price point, especially considering all comments have been locked and deleted on their social media pages.
All that said, I'll pop into CSC once these rifles and receivers are in store and see what they're all about.

I have built billet recievers from scratch on my own equipment. The pricing on the reciever set is very reasonable considering what you are getting. As mentioned, if you don't like it, go build you own.
I will definitely be picking up a set. I love the way they did the upper and lower mating. Zero reciever slop.

I have a bushmaster ACR in 30 RAR. It is a custom made bolt that was proof tested. There was actually 3 bolts made for my rifle, some didn't make it through the testing. it was also made in a way that I can use the same bolt and magazines with my 450 bushmaster barrel

it's not that for me man , not at all, and I'm not trying to troll this thread with negativity, not my intention at all. I just know what it costs to run cnc equipment these days and work with 4140 aluminum on a regular basis and also shop for said material at the wholesale level quite frequently. I design and take part in the fabrication of industrial processing equipment and we have a lot of parts custom made. First r&d is done by me on the big knee mill and once drawings n such are done we pay a guy to translate to code and then cnc mill our parts. I get these companies need to pay out a reasonably large amount of man and machine hours to get to where they are at but still think a grand for stripped uppers and lowers is a bit rich for what they are. It's just gonna keep a lot of folks shopping for offshore made stuff when all they want is a canadian company to make a reasonably priced shooter grade nonrestricted rifle. I was quietly sitting back hoping it was but sadly disappointed to see the pricing out of line with what i'm comfortable spending. I'm about to drop a couple or so grand on another bolt gun build thru hirsch so I'm not afraid of spending money
I have a lower parts kit waiting for a stripped Maccabee lower, if and when they become available. I'll need to find upper parts though... a Norinco upper to strip may honestly be just the thing.
