If you listen to all the b*tching on here you would think tons of people were interested in backing out of their slots. I got a feeling tho that there's not that many

I'm around 50 on the wait list and only two people have backed out ahead of me so far. I don't think anyone likes the wait but its just the way it goes sometimes. I'd be happy with weekly pics on the MDI instagram page showing where the receiver sets are in production though, its been a while since we've seen updated pics or videos.
 
The waiting sucks, but it's to be expected with a small upstart company. Just be glad we're dealing with TNA and not another prevalent distributor on CGN otherwise we'd be paying in full to wait 3 years for overpriced bent Chinsese rifles!
 
I have so many preorders and irons in the fire ICGAF when they ship

Probably a couple I'm missing lol.

I'm in a similar boat more less. I have out roughly the same amount out as the down payment on my first house. Unfortunately when I check my mailbox each day it's empty. Good thing my wife doesn't get my bank statements lol

Not sure which email you are reading, but i’m closer to the front of the line than you, and here is a direct quote from the email:

“1) Unfortunately Maccabee has advised us of more production delays, now they are predicting delivery beginning late July. After this begins I will be able to project a delivery schedule for you based on your position in line.”

No where does it say mid-July. Manage your expectations....

I have thought about passing along my second pre ordered receiver set and just buying a second upper later on down the road to swap onto it instead of buying and building two complete rifles. Not sure yet but it's extra parts I'd need to buy....any cgn opinions on two complete rifle or multiple uppers and one lowers? Pros cons?

I'm all for passing along one of those preorder sets to one of us unlucky guys waiting for a second run 😉 lol.

Kidding aside, I would personally just run a second upper than two dedicated rifles.
